Zip It
Poem-a-Day: April 28th
Zip It If I could zip up the mouth of my doubt, I would do so from every angle. She creeps up, pipes up, destroys every hope, every possibility, every spark of fun. She leaps in as a barrier, even when success has not quite arrived, but I have begun to spot it lingering in the distance. She knocks me down before it arrives, determined to ruin it. Zip it, doubt. I want to take you off and wrap myself in confidence instead.
